High Street

Rightclick disabled

High Street is the highest of the Far Eastern Fells. It is best known for carrying the Roman Road which gives it its name, whilst the flat summit area was once also a venue for horse-racing. Much the finest approach is along the well-defined eastern ridge over Rough Crag.
